Mike Stetz is a longtime journalist and now a novelist. His first two books, "A Girl and Her Dog and Me" and "Don't Stop the Presses," were both critically acclaimed and lauded for their humor and eclectic plots. His latest novel, "The Dark Lottery," was released on Oct. 1.

Kirkus Reviews gave it a "Get It" verdict, meaning you should, well, get it. It said: "Fascinating, meticulously-developed characters fuel Stetz’s novel." And: "The mystery will surely hook readers ... It all culminates in a wonderfully tense final act and a gratifying denouement."

See, you should get it ...
